Milling/drilling center PROXXON mod. BFW-40/E. (codes 20165+20150+20000+24257).
A complete working center for milling and drilling, composed by the milling motor fresatore BFW-40/E, the cross table KT/150, and the column support FBF/2000, and step clamping brackets 24257.

Milling motor BFW-40/E. With feeder. Speed from 900 to 6000 r.p.m.
Through cutter-holder shaft with 3 bearings (without gears). Therefore, neither vibrations nor noises and high concentricity.
Aluminium die-casting motor head with collar 43 mm. (as per European rules).
Large and handy switch with the function of emergency stop.
An indicative table facilitates the preselection of the number of revolutions indicated for drilling and milling in different materials.
BFW-40/E - Technical data: Feeder with full wave electronic adjustment to be connected to 220-240 Volt. Output tension 40 Volt DC.
Max. absorbed power 300 W. Continuous-adjustable revolutions from 900 to 6000 per min.

Equipment: clamping pliers 2,35-3,0-3,2-4,0-5,0-6,0 mm. 2 service keys.
N.W.: the milling motor works with the tension 40 V. supplied by the feeder. With this tension adjustment features are particularly favourable and assure a high couple even at low revolutions.

Aluminium die-casting Cross table KT/150.
Rectified dovetail guides. Suitable even for metalworking. To groove, mill, make edges on nonferrous metals, plastic, wood. Each race with locking device.
Adjustable guides without clearance.
Movement by means of 2 wheels with zerable graduated ferrule, 1 turn = 2 mm. feeding, 1 notch = 0,05 mm. feeding.
Rectified worktable with 3 through grooves for clamping vices and locking devices. 1 stop with preset ledges (even for 45 degrees).
Fastening screws and vice like equipment.
Worktable 200x200 mm., max. stroke 150x150 mm. (150x76 when the cross table is assembled as represented). Height 75 mm.

Realized in hign precision and stability aluminium die-casting. With milled dovetail guides.
Tilting drill-holder head up to 90 degrees. So, there are more use possibilities: oblique drilling, more milling possibility by the same cutter, milling of oblique slots.
Precision feeding for adjusting passage depth of frontal cutters.
With reduced stop and graduated scale of rack depth for drilling with few pressure.
Column diam. 45 mm., 500 mm. long. Arm about 140 mm. Stroke 65 mm.
Rectified base plate 200x200 mm., to be used completely.
Without adapters all drills with collar 43 mm. (Bosch, Aeg, Fein, Metabo, Kress, Black& Decker, De Walt, Skil, etc...) can be used.

Adjustable 0-position for precision feeding. Clearly readable depth scale.

Steel milled step clamping brackets.
Nr. 2 step blocs, 2 piece-holder rods, 2 thread pins, 2 special nuts for use in T-grooves and 2 nuts. Suitable for the cross table KT/150 and the milling machine FF/250 or PF/400. They allow clamping pieces up to 35 mm. of thickness.
